How do I book?
1. Select your style and click book now on our website.
2. We will collect all the information we need from you to make sure we have your exact requirements.
3. Once an Artist has been confirmed you will be emailed through a secure payment form. It's as easy as that!

How long is the appointment?
Each service will display an estimate booking time to expect.

How do I prepare for my appointment?

Blowout:
For a blowout we request you have wet hair.
This means you should wash your hair 10-15 minutes prior to the appointment so your hair is damp but not soaking wet.
For up-dos, please have clean dry hair before your appointment. Unless, you have added on a blow-dry to your service. A $20-$30 surcharge will apply if hair is still damp/wet, and also if hair is extremely long or very thick. An indication of surcharge where applicable can be given upon request.

Dry Hairstyling:
For us to nail that hair style you’re after and still keep to your schedule, we’d love for you to have your hair washed and dried before we arrive. Additional costs of $15 AUD for above shoulder length hair and $20 AUD for below shoulder length hair will be added to the booking if your stylist is required to dry off your hair.

Hair-extentions
As much as we do our utmost to cater to all requests, we generally do not carry hair extensions in our kit when we visit you. Your stylist can provide hair extensions at a small cost if arranged prior to your appointment, otherwise they can fasten any hair extensions that you provide at the advertised rate.

Makeup services:
For makeup, please have a makeup-free, cleansed face prior to our artists’ arrival.
Leave moisturiser off.

Allergies:
Our Artists will have products and tools with them, but please let make sure you have filled out the allergy consent form prior to your booking located here www.tmahustle.com.au/allergyform

The Makeup Artists Hustle loves your pets but some of our Artists are allergic or scared.
If you could please let us know before we come, it would be optimum for the safety of our Artists. We ask that you have a place to sit near an electrical outlet and a flat surface so we can plug in our hairdryers and lay out our tools/products. It is very important that you are ready for your appointment on time.

What styles do you offer?
Refer to our services menu on the website to browse through all styles. You can also request your own personal style.

What if I'm running late for my appointment?
If you believe you will be late for an appointment, it is imperative that you inform the Artists ahead of time of any delays that may occur.

If you are late for an appointment and/or an appointment exceeds the scheduled time that we have allowed as a result of delays, an additional fee of $15 at 15 minute increments will be charged on top of the total cost of your service/s. This can be paid directly to your Artist at the time of the service.

In the event that you are significantly late and the Artists does not have sufficient time to complete the service/s before the next scheduled appointment, you will be liable for the full cost of the service/s.

Who are the Makeup & Hair Artists coming to my home or office?
All Artists are personally interviewed, hand-picked and incredibly talented, The Makeup Artists Hustles hair stylists & makeup artists are required to have years of professional experience. Each qualified applicant is deeply background checked and goes through a rigorous character assessment before joining the team.

Can I chose my Artist?
Given that we are an on-demand service, we cannot promise a certain beauty professional as we all are trained on the certain looks and styles offered. We pride ourselves on our careful assessment process to guarantee satisfaction and consistency with every member of our Makeup Artists Hustle team.
However, if you have previously booked a certain beauty professional please send an email through for a request.

How do I pay?
You will be emailed through an invoice with all of the details for bank transfer or Paypal once you have requested to secure a booking time. 2.6% + 30c applies to all online payments.

Do I pay for travel?
To help our lovely team of artists and stylists deliver their almost supernatural abilities right to your door, a call-out fee of $10 AUD will apply to all services booked within the Greater Melbourne area (Excluding Mornington Peninsula).
For services booked outside of the Greater Melbourne area, call-out fees will be negotiated.
The Makeup Artists Hustle supports our local Makeup Artists and Hairstylists.
When you book the call out/travel charge fees will be fully reimbursed to your professional to cover their time and travel cost.

Parking:
Additional parking costs (if applicable) will also be added to bookings if our artists and stylists are not able to locate free parking close to your address.

What are additional fees?
1. Early morning start between 6am-7am will incur a $35 fee per artist hired. Early morning start before 6am $50.
2. Parking charges will apply if parking is not easily available. Paid directly to your Artist on the day or before. The Makeup artists will choose the most convenient park for them, as you can understand we do have a lot of equipment to carry. You can always ask for a quote for parking prior to securing a booking.
3. Public Holiday surcharge.
4. High demand events eg. Spring Racing Carnival, new years eve, new years day.

What are your changes policy?
If the service/s are decreased The Makeup Artists Hustle will charge the original price to cover the loss of other bookings that were turned away for the same date.

What happens if I need to reschedule an appointment?
We understand that sometimes you need to change your schedule. We kindly ask you to provide a minimum of 48 hours notice via text/call if you wish to reschedule your appointment otherwise you will forfeit your payment.

Please note rescheduling will be dependant on availability. This does not apply to weddings and group bookings – please refer below.

‘No shows’, will be liable for the full price of the missed appointment.

Weddings Bookings
50% deposit is required in order to secure your preferred date and time and the remaining will be due two weeks prior to the wedding date.

Every effort will be taken to accommodate any changes you need to make within reason, however please be aware some changes may incur additional charges.

If the numbers of the bridal party are decreased before the wedding date, The Makeup Artist’s Hustle will charge the original price to cover the loss of other bridal parties turned away for the same date.

Once a payment has been made, we do not under any circumstances refund exisiting booking amounts or part thereof for change of mind or cancellations.

Cancellations
Once a deposit has been made, we do not under any circumstances refund existing booking amounts or part thereof for change of mind or cancellations.

Refunds
We commit to having enough time to serve you, that affects how many clients we take on. For that reason we don't offer refunds.
